Did you see the ending after they ran the cast credits? SPOILER ALERT

SPOILER ALERT!!

So many people left before they ran the cast credits and missed the last scene with Sally and Gabe. Did you see it or did you miss it?

STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW!

The cast credits run and the screen goes black - You hear Gabe yelling for Sally and knocking on the door. He finds out that Sally changed the locks and has all his stuff gathered and she kicks him out, but leaves him there to "deal with" getting the stuff out. Gabe in disgust states he needs a beer. He goes to the refrigerator where there is a warning note stating not to open the frig under any circumstance from Percy. He is very annoyed and claims to still be lord of the house; grabs something off the counter and breaks the padlock on the frig door. He opens the frig and ..... there is Medusa's head looking right at him. The screen goes black again and faintly you can hear the crackling of Gabe turning to stone.

EVERYONE IN THE THEATER CHEERS.

It was a perfect ending. Good bye Gabe and Sally wasn't even responsible. SWEET!

haha yup, but is was only gabe freezing infront of the fridge.

I hope they mention in passing in the 2nd movie that she sold the statue to get money for a better apt. and writing school.

I very nearly missed it. I was halfway through the exit doors when I hear Gabe and Sally start talking. I watced the last bit leaning on some hand rails...

I was there alone. None of my friends read PJO so they weren't interested...

aww that suckz i'm confused why would percy put the head in the fridge with the lock on it if the food is in there?

I think it was kind of mean of Percy, yeah Gabe was mean, but percy didnt have to kill him. They could have just kicked him out, that's mean enough. I mean, honestly, if u had problem with someone, would u kill them? because that's not the smartest way to solve a problem.

You have a good point. However, you will need to take that up with Rick Riordan. He wrote it that way. I guess he wanted him gone for good.

like in the movie, he accidently did it. Also, in the book, his MOM kills him, and think how it would be living with Gabe for 12 years and u have a chance to 'get rid' of him?

I saw it and I thought that it was a good ending, especially with the final few seconds shooting it from Gabe's perspective and then going black like gabe being turned into a statue.

I thought that was wicked funny everyone in the theaters laughed

Everyone in our theaters - saw it 7 times - cheered

People in our theater laughed to, and some even cheered.

one women said it was a bad ending and she got yelled at by every one haha

Ha ha. I did not see the end scene, but, i read this topic and that solved everything!

the endind seen was awsome and it is on the dvd too.

Eh, I guess the ending was pretty funny. But i still think the movie wasn't that great. Nothing was the same. As always, books are better then the movies.

Watched it last night at our friends cabin. The mom had not seen it before and she jumps at all the suspenseful suprise moments so it was funny watching her jump or gasp throughout the movie. Then she laughed at the ending with Gabe.
