I like the one about Persephone, how Hades capture her, and the one with the Golden Fleece, and the Great Titan war, with the 6 Elder gods!

i liked the story of Heithea and Parthenos. they were sisters, princesses of the island Naxos, and they were twin daughters of Zeus. to "escape their stepfather's rage" they jumped into the ocean and their half-brother Apollo changed them into goddesses so they wouldnt die. its not a very well known story tho.

Huh never read that version. You're right, that is weird. I like the version with her and Meleger and it ended with the burning stick.

I like the myth where the guy (I forget his name) fell in love with a statue he carved, so he asked Aphrodite to turn it into a woman. But I also like the love story of Eros and Physche.

My weirdest mythology story is the Agrius and Oreius, where Aphrodite bewitched the young woman to fall in love with a bear. Where did that one come from?

That's kind of awkward. Like, "Oh, I need to find a wife? Well, why don't I use this statue?" Greek mythology's so weird...

I totally agree. But that's something Aphrodite would do, make you fall in love with a bear. Big reason not to anger her... Bears...

agreed. dont anger aphrodite. that would suck. she's kind of...witchy...if you know what i mean. and i also like the story of Eros and Physche. especially the part where Eros kinda goes on strike until Aphrodite says she wont make Physce fall in love with a donkey. well thats what it said in the mythology book i read anyways. its funny...aphrodite doesnt get what she wants. shows her that shes not the queen of the universe.
