OKAY, RICK'S NEW SERIES WILL BE OUT TUESDAY. WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS?
Take the poll and then tell us what your plans are. Will or will you not read the new book? Are you going to buy the book, get it from the library, borrow it from a friend or what? How much are you looking forward to this new series?

Re: WILL YOUR READ THE RED PYRAMID
Need I say it? I am very interested in how this new series will be. I want to support Rick and hope this will be a good story. It is a really interesting premise and Carter and Sadie appear to be great characters.

Re: WILL YOUR READ THE RED PYRAMID
If this double-posts or does something wonky, I'm sorry. The forum had a siezure.
Not reading this book would be like not receiving holy communion on Easter Sunday.
I think Sadie is going to be an asswipe for the first few chapters, maybe the whole book. Haha. She's so rebelliously naive, and that's what makes her character so great.
I mean, at twelve, it's hard for me to consider that she's even been SLIGHTLY EXPOSED to the gang-bangers she acts like, so I'm hoping the series also takes her through a sort of identity crisis. Perhaps even one that leads her to siding with Set, being trained in dark heka, controling and binding other gods to her new master by magic, then being redeemed by Carter and the good gods in the end. (So I herd u liek my plotz?)
Seriously, though, if Rick reads this and steals my plot, I will be filing lawsuits. It's bad enough that he stole my PORTAL SYSTEM GAWDDAMMIT andmy ROSETTA STONE ASPLOAD SCENARIO that releases "a gang-banger Duat trash furry" into the real world.
In other words, I'm expecting Kane to be something like this; deviantart/Therion in the desert of Set
But, with more instances of Sachmis and Muuffaaaaan~ trying to shoot each other with machine guns.

You would actually line up in front of a book store to get it? Cause I'm way too lazy for that type of stuff, though I suppose it'd be fun especially if there are many people there. Be a joyous environment, but that's just me speculating, in reality is it?

I'm so frustrated, I still haven't got my book yet, and it is the weekend, now I'll have to wait for next weekend to read the book.

Re: WILL YOUR READ THE RED PYRAMID
Sorry to hear that ricz I have 7 copies in my house and 3 of the audio book. 3 of the books and 2 of the audio books are for our site for give aways. Christof and I are coming up with how we are going to do it. I listened to the audio book and followed in the book. The readers are so good. Kevin and Kate do a great Carter and Sadie and all the other voices too. It is like having a movie in you head.

Is the audio book really that good cause most audio books are just disappointing.

Most audio books might be but Kevin Free and Kate Kellgrin are superb in their portrayal of Sadie and Carter Kane.
