The Lost Hero cover, What do you think about it?

Title says it all. What do you think about the cover for the lost hero? , I think it's the best cover yet. John Rocco really did a good work on this one!!

Me too. And both Leo and Jason are on the dragon, I think, I'm just wondering who's in the front. Most likely Leo since he has dark hair. It never really describes Jason...

i am curiose about the dragon, because the only dragon at Camp Half Blood is the one guarding Thaila's tree. i hope that gives the story some more flavor of adventure...

it might not have to much to do with it. remeber how blackjack was on two of the PJO covers? he was important but he wasnt the most important thing in the story.

yeah. black jack in TLO only really had to take annabeth when she got hurt in battle, and the one flying pig scene.
and in TTC his biggest part was helping percy trying to keep up with thalia, grover, zeo, and bianca. i mean he was important cause percy might not of been able to go without him, but then he basically left the story till the end.

Re: The Lost Hero cover, What do you think about it?
Not to be harsh. But can we get back on-topic.
I personally like this cover, it gives mystery to the story. And for those who think it's boring. when TLT came out. the cover is a boy looking at new york with a lightning rod on his hand. Maybe you wouldn't think much of it. in the topic where people tell how they found the PJO series, most say when they first saw the book they didn't think much of it till' they read it.
So in this cover we have three kids flying a mechanical dragon, it looks awesome, much better than a boy looking at new york.

I like the cover but at the same time I don't think that it is quite suitable, the cover seems a bit cartoonish, and too childish.

if you think about it, its the same structure as they did for the red pyramid. in the background is buildings, and the main characters are closer up

Re: The Lost Hero cover, What do you think about it?
I kinda wonder if that the building is just the expanded version of the big house at Camp Half-blood.......

i thought the big house was a two story farm house with the paint whereing off... lol. it looks alittle bit to big to be, but if it was the expanded verison i guess it would be bigger. but even if that is, the buildings in the cover are brick, the big house is not. unless they re-built it.

yea, and it doesn't look like it tht much.
i just wished that rick did a bit of a better job with the cover. and not the same thing as the red pyramid.
