I'm just going to say that my copy arrived today, but I won't probably start until the weekend and possibly next week because I have this huge emminent person speech project and I'm right now pouring over 7 books which has over 5000 pages of text.

LOL!! Me too! I was up till 12:30 reading the book but I gotta say.... I love it!! I do agree, it wasn't as funny as Percy. But still I think he built the character's personalities more.

I am almost finished with my copy, I agree with Cennedy125 - it's not as funny as Percy, but I didn't expect it to be exactly like Percy. Besides, it has enough humor to keep me satisfied.

I enjoyed it, but it was very disapointing... with the whole Thalia/Jason thing seemed very fanfiction-y and Piper, I feel, was made to replace Selena.

though I must admit, Leo is really funny Smile Move aside Nico!

Is everyone not done except for me?

Anyways I think that Percy will end up being one of the 7, because Rick only said son of Posidon wasn't likely to be, but never said anything about a son of Neptune.

Also RIck, Great job on finding these little known gods, and also some things that were supposedly in the Argonautica, wasn't in the version I read.

Lastly, the next book is titled Son of Neptune so like second big hint....

That's it, and also Jason and THalia seem so different to be brothers and sisters.

Also, last thing, how much do you guys want to bet that the ROman Camp will be on an island thingy near water too? Anyways Angel Island is my guess just saying.

This Roman/Greek gods thing is confusing... Percy is a son of Poseidon and Neptune at the same time, because they are the same person, just different names and different personalities... TLH is definitely more of a thinky book than TLT.

Also

Prophecy,

To Storm or Fire the World must fall.

with Gaia now in the picture I'm going to say that the World would be Gaia, and Storm or Fire (Just a wild guess from this point on) is Hades or Posidon so one of them has to defeat Gaia.

Edit: Also the Hotel in Montreal, I've stayed there in a Penthouse suite like long time ago....

Also this is going to be interesting, Gaea in Roman Mythology wasn't identified too much from Demeter/Ceres. So wonder what Rick has to say about that.

hmm, good point.

I am at the ending of the Lost Hero, and what i have to say about the book is that is okay, but i think Rick could have done a better job if he had the full year, and the plot leans more towards fanfiction than real, but overall, the book was pretty amazing. the new direction rick took in the book was suprising, but its also a developing way, too.

No, this book is absolutely fantastic, much better than PJO, now that I've had time to read it twice more slowly.

Actually riczhang,
Spoiler:

That's my assumption anyway. You could be right.

BTW, this story was AWESOME! I loved it, and I think it's the best one yet. And like it says in the summary of the book, "Rick has pumped up the action, humor, suspense, and mystery in an epic adventure that will leave readers panting for the next installment." I totally agree. I can't wait until the next book comes out! The cliff hanger was soooooo good! I can't wait a year! Crying or Very sad It's too good!

....Excuse my ranting. Razz XD
