I think it is weird how Poseidon got so mad at Odisiuous (i butchered the spelling on that...)for
blinding his son during the Odyssey, but he doesn't punish Anabeth, Percy, Clarisse
and Tyson for tricking him, stealing from him etc. My theory on this is that that cyclops was no longer Poseidon's favorite son anymore so he didn't care as much. What do you all think?

the reason why posidon doesn't punish percy is because percy is also his son.

yeah, Odysyous (what?) wasn't Poseidon's son, and apparently Odysyous had angered him a lot. So Poseidon pretty much just hated his guts! plus, Poseidon says at the end of the 4th book: "...And you, Percy, are my favorite son." yeah.

I know that Odisius wasn't his son. But the cyclps he blinded was and that angered Posieden a lot.
