The Egyptian Series!

Rick Riordan is starting a new series that is not based of of Greek mythology! The series is based of of the plotline the the gods of Ancient Egypt or going to invade 21st century America! I don't know If this story involves the Greek Gods, or what it will be called. Rick Riordan chose the Egyptian gods, because after the Greek Myths, Egyptian Mythology was the most popular when he taught social studies and language arts. Stay tuned for more info.

So what do you think. Do you have any thoughts on the issue? Any Theries? post 'em here.

I'm interested as Egyp has allways been an interest of mine I might have to stick some ancient Egyptian tales such as the syphinx mabye?

On wikipedia it says that the title is The Warriors of Ra, but there's no source to confirm.

he he. Ur talking to a 9th grader who is studyign world history for the 3rd time. I am a history GEEK. I know like every mithology from every era. I would love it if Rick wrote a series on Norse Mythology next!

To tell the truth i know more about Egyptian Mythology than Greek, cause I watch a lot of Stargate and the Goa'uld are technically the gods in the series. So I researched them quite a bit.

This egyptian series looks great! Can't wait till May!

I went to a class at Iowa State University and it was on Ancient Egypt so I know a bit about that stuff.

Does anyone know when I can pre-order it?
