Looks like at least 3 movies to be made

In the interview on the today show Pierce Bronson says he has signed up to 3 movies. Three out of a 5 book series. What do you think they are going to do?

I hope they end up making all of the books into movies. (for them to make more movies the first has to be sucessful... so tell all your friends about the movie!!)

most of my freinds r going to see it and i hope they finish the whole series on movie

That is why we all need to see the movie several times, especially opening weekend.

something was wrong with the music where i went to see it. but if that stuff didnt happen it would of been a great movie.

what if they mix in SOM with TC to make the second movie, and then make BOL and TLO????

That would suck for the last 2 books cause there's like a 10 month gap between the 2 books, so I'm not sure how they'll do that.

They wouldn't cause they'd have to spend more money on new props and earn half the money.

o yea that would make sense, i'm surprised the numbers weren't that high for the weekend sales.

i wonder that if they don't get enough money to pay for the Lightning Theif and get the other three movies (hopefully 4 others) done, then will they cancel the contract, or still do the contract, just in debt?

no, the music in the place i saw it had a problem with the speakers. the songs were great/

Look, her's what i think. I liked the movie, but i loved the book better,

number #1) In the book Percy, Annabeth, and Grover (well not grover) were 12 and in the movie Percy could DRIVE, and the girl who played Annabeth is in her 20's!!. That ruins making more movies, beacause in the first book he's 12, the second 13, third 14 (you get the picture). And finally in the last and final book he's 16 and the big prohecie unfolds. This is just my thought, but i think they should've stuck with the book, the storyline is more realistic.

Number #2) i think Annabeth was OOC when she said: "I defenetly have strong feelings for you, i just don't know if it's positive or negative yet".

Number #3) They didn't mention: Thalia's tree, Or KRONOS, he's the main villan in the series!! And i don't personaly think there's going to be another movie, because in SOM Grover get's trapt in the Cyclops cave bacaus he was looking for pan. In the movie, they didn't even mention that!

I want a remake!!!! Who's with me!?!

Those are all good things to bring up. However, if Chris Columbus had chosen 12-year olds to be in the cast, they would have been working with swords and shields, green screen, guns, etc. If one of them got hurt, that could end up as a lawsuit.

yea, but i mean, the whole age thing dosn't really affect the movie, and there's a reason behind it. so older people to me are okay.

i think it's fine that they were older. if they were younger, they wouldnt have been as good actors/actresses, and then the movie wouldnt be as good.

Not necessarily as there are very talented child actors.

yea. like annasophia roob, she started acting at 9 years old.

No news that another movie will be made . LOCKED
