Party Ideas

My Birthday is this summer and I want to do a Percy Jackson theme.
I have no freakin clue on what to do. Any Ideas?

Toy swords and shields for everyone?

Yeah, at some dollar stores they have foam swords...you could have an epic battle with swords and stuff

And also, u could watch the movie...it comes out on DVD on June 22nd...that's in only 10 days!!

If you like game shows you could have a PJO Jeopardy... sorry kinda lame idea...

That isn't a bad idea, and I was thinking something similar....

This may sound cheesy, but try making monster themed masks, like cyclopes and stuff, or instead of Pin the Tail on the Donkey, try Pin the tail on the Satyr.

Or pin the eye on the cyclops. Make reinforced cardboard swords, for duels.

Thank you Ricz I went back in and corrected it while you posted this. Greek Geek contacted me on Skype in the middle of my post. We are about to do a mortalcast.

The Skype thing started out ok, but after 15 minutes the connection went all loopy.

You can have blue soda and cake.

I made my own camp half-blood t-shirt for a school dress-as-a-character day I just took an orange t-shirt and made a logo on the computer and did an iron-on.

And I have another party idea, sometimes at my parties we play this fun game called guess-a-character... You write a bunch of character's names on different pieces of paper, and then you tape the paper on people's backs, but the people CAN NOT know what character is on their back. You can see the characters on other peoples backs though. Then you go around asking yes or no questions about the character on your back, and the first one to guess their character wins. Example- "is my character a girl?" "no" "is my character a son of Poseidon?" "yes" "is my character Percy?" "yes" "I WIN!"

you can give the winner like a chocolate bar or something, some kind of fun prize

Some blue foods you can have: cake, icing, blueberries, blue corn chips, blue cheese. On the M&Ms website you can order various shades of exclusively blue M&Ms. Blue frosted Pop Tarts. Blue Air Heads. Blue corn tortilla chips. You could also make cupcakes with a layer of blue icing, then a layer of blue-green icing, then a thin layer of white, then swirl it with a fork to make it look like a wave, or you could make a trident design with a blue icing pen.

you could do is like get a blue cake and all blue food. and for the cake, u could gget it an ocean theme. then the party plates and cups could be percy jackson if they have any. if they don't, then u could make it blue. then make a banner with percy jackson on it and saying happy birthday.

I don't know when PJO comes out on DVD or when your party is, but if it's after the PJO DVD release date, then you could watch the movie.
