Lol. I'm a girl, but don't care much for fashion and makeup. I get virtually all my clothes from thrift stores and consignment stores, and I amaze the new friends I get with this fact.
Update: Having a weird urge to learn how to play the electric guitar. Anyone want to teach me??

I've been to a thrift store before, they sometimes have good vintage stuff. You just gotta make sure they aren't fakes or anything.

I got a prada form good will once, and it was 100% real. It had it's code inside and everything. It smells alittle weird though, but I can't afford a new one so I'm happy with what I got and I just make sure I wear enough perfume to cover the odd purse smell.

Oh and about the guitar thingy, I have no idea.

prada from a thrift store?? now there's one i haven't seen. i've gotten aeropostale, hollister, and american eagle mostly but some other stuff.

How do you find Parda in a thrift store? My mom can barely find it in Big Boutiques in the city.... She flies to other bigger cities to do her designer shopping.... SOmetimes all the good luck goes to others.

It was a goodwill not a thrift store (atleast I think goodwill's aren't) and they get tons of designer handbags in, LV, Chanel, donney, coach, prada, ect. I guss it just has to do with where you live, i'm in a higher end of middle class place. But we don't get anything to high fashion, nothing like fendi, pucci, gucci, alexander mcqueen, alexander wang, doir, chloe, balenciage, miu miu, ect. something that the average person wouldn't know.

It's more like the high end more mainstream designers they get there. But alot of them are fakes, You have to have a good eye to figure out the real form the fakes. I'd say over 80% of them are fakes, which really annoys me.

i dont get stuff form there to much because the handbags are sometimes to dirty. I'd rather wait for a sale at my local saks or nemain. plus its hard to find handbags that you are in love with there. I have to be in love for me to buy, or else I won't be as happy when i wear it.

Well in Down Town we have a Vera Wang( I Think), 2 Dolce and Gabana, 1 Dior, we might have a Prada. And That's about it. We also have an Coach. But no Louie, Alexander, Dior, Chloie, Fendi, Gucci, Armani, Valentino. But you don't have to get these extremely famous brands, my dad's company used to be supplied ties from a company in Sweden that hand made ties there at the cost of 200 USD a tie, and they are better than the Hugo ties, or any of the other big luxury brands.

My mom doesn't buy fendi for that reason but all of my shirts and suits are either made by that Swedish company, Armani, Valentino, or Boss because they are comfortable and of good quality.

I dunno. But don't ask for the gown, we donated it after we moved to a different house cause it was taking up space.

Well it was for some charity that helps supply wedding gowns for those who can't afford them(I think...) That was around 9 years ago that this happened.
