maybe they would be forbidden because it is in the Underworld and i don't think gods (except Hemes) can get in and out easily. but if they can (percy, annabeth, and grover did), i think they would become more invurnable, or just burn up and get spitten out of the River Styx.

As they are immortal, eternal beings, I don't think the gods would need to bathe in the River Styx, nor would they be allowed to, since it is in Lord Hades's realm.

The major gods don't die. Just some of the lesser minor gods - like pan.

Think about it.
To survive a dip in the styx you have to focus on your mortal point..gods dont have a mortal point... they wouldnt gain anything from it as they should technicaly die...but as they are gods they cant die...
simply put: nothing would happen apart from they would get fed up of peoples hopes and dreams slamming into them..

An excellent response and completely true. Everything else is insubstantial. You can't make an immortal more immortal.
I am going to close this topic.
