Demigod, Curse or Blessing?

Do you think that being a demigod is a curse or a blessing?
Because even thoe you get to have all these cool powers, chances are 3 to 1 that you will be killed!
So what do you think?

I'd be a major demigod because it is not worth it for the little powers of a minor.

I probaly wouldn't want to be a demigod child of Zeus (no disrespect intended).
Hades, Apollo, Athena, and maybe Prometheouse or Hedcate.

I think that the coolness of being a demigod is enough to pay for the risks.

yeah. i just think the ocean is really beautiful. plus it would be cool to be able to control water, and it would be cool to talk to sea creatures, and ESPECIALLY horses!!!!

I would say its a blessing, after all the powers are worth it. Besides there is always camp half blood.

agree... and i think it would be a blessing because a normal life would suck if you were a demigod, and i rather be trying to get killed by monsters than doing nothing in my spare time

i agree...i think being a demigod is a blessing because the gods are ur parent and u get awesome powers!!

but then again, like chirstof said from the beggining, there is a huge chance for you getting killed- maybe sounds fun, but how would u like it if you can't go out of town without worrying about getting killed? talk about vacation

And a curse. you know you rely on your parents not to be perfect but hopefully pretty consistent. With the gods they were very self-serving and capricious. They could bless you one moment and curse you the next. Or have one blessing you while another out to kill you. A dangerous situation to be in if you are weaker than them. That is why they are fascinating to study. They had all the typical human flaws, vast powers at their finger-tips to throw weight on any whim, and little or no accountability for their actions. As a demigod, you hopefully had your godly parents backing, but could have serveral other gods including your parent's spouse gunning against you. Remember, every demigod meant that some god was cheating on his/her spouse.

I would love to have the abilities of posidonsdaughter, however between both gods and demons potentially out to get you ---well maybe not.
