i'll go first. I just finished the second book of the Hunger Game series: Catching Fire.
Now im reading this book called Goose Girl. It sounds ridiculous, but its a really good book.

I started Catching Fire 2 days ago, and I'm still halfway through The Wizard Heir, not to mention Book 8 in the Pendragon series.

I just reread the last Pendragon book... Soldiers of Halla. Also I am getting ready to read one of The Gallagher Girls books.

Finshed Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets early this morning, halfway into Prisoner of Azakaban.

How many Harry Potter books are there?

7 books but to-be 8 movies cause they're spliting the last one.

I started reading Harry Potter when all the books were out. No waiting for the next book.

Anyway, after I finish The Prisoner of Azakaban (which is my favorite HP book, just saying) I'm going to read Gregor the Overlander and the Curse of the Warmbloods. I like the series better than Suzanne Collins's other series, The Hunger Games.

I just finished rereading The Girl With The Silver Eyes. It's a good book but very unheard of now because it was published in 1983 or something.

I agree on the hp fav, but the hunger games ROCKED!!!! (3rd comin out soon !!!!!)

I want to read The Hunger Games. My parents say it's too scary but I'm pretty good with stuff like that. I was allowed to watch PJO. That was pretty scary.

You can reassure your parents it isn't scary. Yes there is killing but they don't make it graphic. It is more suspenseful. They are both great reads. I hope they allow you to read them.

They're more romancy and exciting than scary and graphic.

I started DANIEL X. I read the first three chapter and just couldn't get into it. So I'll try THE BOOK THIEF next.

I read both Hunger Games books in about 5 days and then read Catching Fire a second time. I cannot wait for Mochingjay due out August 24. In fact I am planning to go to NYC with Pendragon to the Midnight release party for it and get the book signed.

That sounds so cool! I can't wait till it comes out! If I get the chance, I'm going to pre-order it while I'm in St. Louis, MO next week. I'm soooooo excited!!!

I don't know if I've recommended this before, but I've been re-reading a series called the Gallagher Girls series. The books in order are I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You, Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy, Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover, and the newest one that came out this year, Only the Good Spy Young, all by Ally Carter.

(Just to let all the guys know out there, this series is for girls. It's almost kind of like the Clique series [I think, I've never read them], but spy version.)

They're about a girl named Cameron (Cammie) Morgan, who is a spy in training at the Gallagher Academy in Roseville, Virginia. Here's the 1st book summary:

Cammie Morgan is a student at the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, a fairly typical all-girls school--typical, that is, if every school taught advanced martial arts in PE and the latest in chemical warfare in science, and students received extra credit for breaking CIA codes in computer class. The Gallagher Academy might claim to be a school for geniuses, but it's really a school for spies.
Even though Cammie is fluent in fourteen languages and is capable of killing a man seven different ways with her bare hands, she has no idea what to do when she meets an ordinary boy who thinks she's an ordinary girl.
Sure, she can tap his phone, hack into his computer, or track him through town with the skills of a real "pavement artist"--but can she maneuver a relationship with someone who can never know the truth about her?

This series is absolutely amazing! It's fast paced, humorous, and there's just a smidge, a really tiny smidge, of emotional stuff. It gets more emotional-ish in the 3rd and 4th, along with more action! Who doesn't love action, right? I give it 10 stars!

I'm really mad kind of right now..... because I can never find those books!!!! I read the first one like 3 months ago, and I need to read the others before I forget about what happened in the first... Confuzzling.

Did you look on Amazon?

I have to find them in the library first. it's this sort of rule. I can't buy books I've never read before unless they are for school.
