What's wrong with Expensive clothes? Clothes have to match your personality, you express yourself through your choice of clothes.

Yeah. I have a lot of brand name stuff - Hollister, American Eagle - and I found them at thrift stores.

Having some items of clothes that are name brands are fine. However, wearing only name brands and buying only from expensive stores is not what the average person's family can afford. If you are fortunate enough to be in that kind of family good for you. Just remember the shirt that you buy with a logo on it, no names, you could have gotten for less than half at a regular store and found a perfectly good one at one of the mart stores. Try spending less on clothes and give the extra money to a homeless shelter or other charity where someone with nothing or who has lost everything can have something.
My son has grown up wearing hand me downs from my friend's son who is very wealthy. When he was little and we would visit their homes and they would fly us to visit them while they lived in California, Pendragon would ask why we couldn't live in homes like their's. I would explain that we live where daddy and I can pay for and it is a good home for us and we need to thank God for what he has given us and not wish for more. By the time he was 6 he understood.
Okay when they moved back to New York and we no longer got great trips it was sad. And it took 9 more years to fly him to Disney World.

yea, i agree with the thrift store thing. I went to... i think it was goodwill or a place like that... and they had amazing shirts that were $10, and if you went to the mall and went in their stores, it would've been $20. i'm not really picky about what I wear, as long as I don't stand out like a sore thumb.
